Broadly based on the presence or absence of cyanosis in the affected child.

  1. Cyanotic CHD

  2. Acyanotic CHD
    • With left to right shunts
      • VSD (commonest CHD)
      • ASD
      • PDA
    • Without shunt
      • Coarctation of aorta
      • Pulmonary stenosis
      • Aortic stenosis
