Musical sound produced by obstruction of small bronchus and bronchioles.

Sound produced by obstruction of large bronchus whether intrathoracic or extrathoracic.

Lung causes are:

  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
  • Chronic asthma

  • Interstitial lung diseases: Sarcoidosis, fibrosing alveolitis, and extrinsic allergic alveolitis.
